Very nice...even ye coos (Hereford, not Highland I believe) know where to wander to in the scene.:) (BTW, if you're a multi-media Blakean, Pollok House there in Glasgow has some nice paintings by him.)

So you're saying the only thing separating us from long, meaningful conversations with said doe-eyed waifs is...geography. I have no trouble believing that. (FWIW, I'm convinced that Ms. Gillan, especially, would be particularly enthralled by my reading of Rene Girard and his use of Dostoevsky's novels to delineate his theory of mimetic desire...

Another weekend bump, but I must say that I'm perplexed by the lack of interest from young men, especially. I mean, visit any photo hosting site like Flickr and take notice of all the pictures of contre-jured young lasses striking improbable (but languid) poses in front of bay windows and curtains exhaling with the force of palpable nubility. Now take a look at said lens that's created that Einstein-Rose bridge to a reality sadly unknown to you up 'till now. That's right, it's a 105/2.4 or 168/2.8 that's bending the space-time continuum.
Now, I can't in good faith attest that buying one--or ideally, both--of these lenses will turn your life into an Axe commercial, but, my frères, whose manhoods have hitherto been sublimated in a maelstrom of manbunn'd ennui and secret, Weimar-esque fappening, I ask you: what do you have to lose?

PentaxForums.com Marketplace Listing Item for Sale
Pentax 67 Super Takumar 105/2.4; Pentax 67 165/2.8 Asking Price
200.00 USD Item Location
Knoxville (United States) Item Description
If you don't have enough bokeh in your life, here's your chance to rectify that.:)
First up for sale is a Super Takumar 105/2.4. The lens is in great "used" shape--I sent it in to Eric Hendrickson for a CLA not long after I bought it a couple of years ago. A couple of notes about the lens: 1.) note that this is not the "SMC" version of the Super Tak, but I have not noted it as being extra prone to flare. 2.) The lens exhibited signs of Thorium yellowing when I first bought it, but several hours under a UV lamp cleared it up to my satisfaction. If for some reason you detect a color cast, a few more hours under a lamp will no doubt clear for you; however, I'm selling the lens "as is," and so will not accept a return for this issue. supertak1 by J Barnes, on Flickr
$200 USD, shipped CONUS.
The other lens is another bokeh-monster, the 165/2.8. I bought this from KEH in Excellent condition a few years back and would still rate it thus. (Both lenses have a bit of internal dust, as you would expect from glass of this vintage.) 165 by J Barnes, on Flickr
$200 USD, shipped CONUS.
At any rate, I found both lenses outstanding in the field--while both are well known "portrait" lenses, I used both happily as "landscape" options. (Pictures to come.) I also have Extension Tube #1 which sell with either lens--a great addition if you like to shoot head/shoulder portraits. Are you the original owner of the item being sold?

A nice looking pup, though a terrier with a strong prey drive (like my Airedale here in the States) always has the potential to be a bit of a rodeo...too bad y'all don't have any skunks.:)

I did have a student bring me a plate of chitlins once that might have tested his resolve...:)
At any rate, definitely a lot of solitude to be found--check out Lake Chinnabee if you've not already, if you're back up toward Cheaha again.

Nicely done--I spent a decade teaching at UAB (and an unconscionable amount of time in the Talladega National Forest:)). "Wild" Alabama really is a hidden jewel.

All well and good, mate, but remember that I'm lineally descended from a group of y'all a-judged too violent to stay in Early Modern Scotland.
At any rate, a seriously nice photo--I think I'd probably like it better without the toning, though, in keeping with its classic, "decisive moment" vibe.

Make it a cerakote'd SBR (and a couple of strategically placed bandoleers) and I can pretty much guarantee poster sales here in the great state of Tennessee....

Hopefully Kerrowdown will be along and arrange a proper claymore for the lass (the sword, not the AP mine...different kind of "clackers.) Otherwise, I could see this becoming a holiday tradition, though don't feel fenced-in by us American and Yurps--"Tara Luxuriating in the Warmth of the Antipodean Summer" would have a charm all its own, not to mention being culturally sensitive.;)
