Great b&w landscape CJ. I always take a roll of black and white with full intent, but never end up shooting it, one day!
Here is a 6x12 crop from my P67 45 f/4 on Kodak Portra 160. Ive been admiring a lot of 6x12 film work lately and am feeling the GAS. |

A few images from the last, and more sizable, snow fall in the Eastern Sierras this year. Finally getting around to going though all my images from the last 2-3 months, its been a busy and fun summer.

My cable release protrudes about 2x that far into the shutter, seems to be fine..

I've been shooting more Kodak Ektar 100 lately. Mostly in scenarios with more vibrant colors and less dynamic range. I'm really liking how some of the images are coming out.

The biggest problem I've had with mine is I never shoot any of the other cameras I own.

I like the second one. The light is bringing out great texture and dimension in the leaves.

I hike with my P 6x7, 45 and 105 all the time.
I'd also suggest ditching the handle, as well as the strap for it. I tend to keep it in a small pack for day trips away from the car. Pull it out take an image and place it back in my pack. It gets annoying hanging around your neck hiking hiking around and in the desert that fine dust is going to be blowing everywhere.
Also you could cut out some weight by picking up a WLF for it. Personally I prefer shooting landscape with it, it will save you another lb or 2.

This is a waterfall in Northern, CA. You have to trespass on Southern Pacific property for about a mile (walking). I made it out with no ticket. I hear they are like $150 per person. |
