I have a Pentax K10D camera along with a Pentax lens 18-250. When in mode AF.S, with the flash opened, and at maximum zoom (250), if I set focus on a close object ( 30-45 centimeters), then point the camera to a more distant point (6 meters) and try to set the focus again, the flash start to blink very quickly, with a strange buzing electrical noise, and the focus does not do anyting. I have to either reduce the zoom or point to another closer object in order to transition the focus before going to the more distant object.
I have the latest firmware 1.30.
Please help! :(
