thank you, and yes you are right, the focus is not quiet there, I'm using manual focus and wide open the 85 is hard to nail the focus sometimes — still learning :)

All three are great, but the first one to me is the best, the attitude of the model, the delicate contraposto, the light and the painterly but still sharp rendering, the fact that the model is not cropped makes a better usage of the negative space enhancing the curvy lines of her contour. I like it because it is original but also have a subconscious relationship to a Renaissance artwork. The other two most probably because I seen the first one you posted (I guess that is the final chosen one) are like "sketches" and document the work you did and the model to get that shot. Great work thank you for sharing and being such a good source to learn from.

I did print these three as 4x6 each and have them in my backpack if I meet him again

Thank you, I know F11 may be too much but when I seen his "meduza" like hair I knew I wanted every strand of hair in focus, plus this year I'm trying to use my DSLR as an SLR and limiting my self to the smallest numbers of frame shoot so I concentrate more on the in camera composition and achieving a good in focus area maybe that is why I also when for that big F number

I was out this morning, trying to get a few macro shoots of flowers when I was approach and asked very politely (I must say) by a homeless man to take his picture, don't know why? he can't have them or look at them later, anyway I took 4 frames to make him happy and ended up likening these 2 of the 4 shoot I did. Any critiques and opinions are welcome. Please let me know which one you prefer.

Thank you in advance for your time.

I like a lot your idea "image inside an image in another image" the way the mirrors and the surroundings are working, nice. Great work
