Sigh.... did I mention that I am a techno-dummy? You are absolutely right, of course. For some reason I was thinking I had to install via the dvd.....

Hi everyone, I am new here so I hope I am posting in the correct forum.
I upgraded my computer to a Macbook Air running OS 10.8. When I loaded the Pentax disc I got an error message that "powerpc applications no longer supported". I have had the Optio for about 4 years and am happy with it. I can't afford to buy a new camera- Is there a workaround for this? Is there maybe something I can download that will bypass this issue?
Any help or guidance would be appreciated!
