I tried to send it back February 2014 they wouldn't except for repair till finally August 2014.. Then received 2015.. Might want to read other post. It was broken when received 2013 still under warranty.. You think they'd send me a brand new I'm sorry for the inconvenience camera if they didn't have to?

Oh and yes as soon as they figured out who sent it (and it took some doing because Pentax told me they did not have one) I sent the loaner back that day! The attorney generals office let me know who to send it to. Pentax did not know if it was the CEO of precision camera John Malinosky who I spoke to or Pentax!
If you have any other questions please don't hesitate to ask If you need help with anything I did I know a lot of people are getting and have been screwed by Ricoh.
Again.. I love all my Pentax stuff it is Ricoh that is going to suffocate them.

Ok here is the scoop..
I'll try to make this short because it is long..
I bought 645d 10/12/13! in February of 2014 realized after starting to print for customers big sensor problem..
Started contacting Pentax from that date on.. Finally got them to let me ship for repair.. Read back post for that journey thru hell... I sent 645D camera to precision 8/12/14 received it back fixed January 2015 that's a year later From the date I started trying to get them to fix it. I did follow through with attorney generals and in the end for my troubles they sent me a free K3ii Camera . (Still not worth all the lying and anxiety) I received that August 2015..
If you have any problems with any company?.. I strongly suggest Attorneys generals office.
I want to say that I love all my Pentax equipment BUT they have been taken over by a very Rude, unprofessional, irresponsible to large of a company that don't even think knows they own Pentax without looking at a list of there holdings..
Good luck and don't deal with bull#%€+.. It takes patients and time but deal with them on there level!

If u really want to get somewhere?, these two got me a 645d loaner. Just mention attorney generals office!
I have no idea where the camera came from, and neither does Pentax but I got one! Precision camera received mine in the middle of August still no word. I wasn't going to put out this email address because I think they helped me but I'm getting very !%#xz! off! Wanted my camera back so I could sell it and buy the 645Z. By the time I get it back it will probably be worthless it's value has already been cut in half from $8000 to around $4000!
Here ya go.. Merry Christmas!! Hammer them! I still think it's Richos problem but this is the way I got to them.

I concur.. And I did not mean to infer that Pentax sent me the loaner.. Because when I called to tell them I found it on my back porch after two days of rain and it would have been nice if someone let me know It was coming.. Nobody new who I was or what I was doing with a 645d loaner!
I wicked appreciated it because it saved my butt for two jobs but as far as I know it may have come from precision camera. The CEO John Malinosky said he was trying to get me one but that was the last I heard!
They wanted to know the serial number and all info.. Well I've been waiting since August 10th ish? They're gonna wait till I get mine back.
I'd like to assume they figured it out by now but they really aren't impressing me with their intelligence?
True story .. Believe it or not.. scary... At the time I paid $8000 for it they sent me another one and don't even know it!

Just got off the phone with Randall who sent me up to Dale above him and he can't help me.. end of 9th week and counting.. Said he'd like to give me a loner but don't have any. Been escalated 4 times now! Precision says on on 10/3 .. 3 to 5 more weeks.. that will be 13 weeks with them and 14 or 15 that ive been without it! But pentax customer service has been really nice?

How does all you just wrote help the fact that I paid stupidly $8000 for a camera that they can't fix and now have to send to factory for 3 more weeks or more? Why did it take 2 months to figure that out?
Yes I did want medium format and was thinking of Hasselblad but went with pentax for older lenses. But as usual you get what u pay for. and in time will go with other brand. I happen to have sponsors to help pay and should have gone that way, but was interested in pentax because I grew up with them. I have a rooted heart felt feeling for Pentax but that does not pay my bills! I don't mean disrespect for Pentax or you, but ricoh has other problems than repair.

I can't believe u bought more Pentax. My wait is moving towards 3 months. When 645d comes back I'm selling and going back to my cannons and Nikon. Loved the camera but Walmart has better customer service. And it's still under warranty!

Good luck I've been waiting two months and precision won't return calls or emails. 645d warranty issue. Pray u don't need repair! Pentax makes u think there going to help but they have no control! I think Ricoh is going to be the down fall of my beloved Pentax.

I like it, and I know what u mean. Some times I'll put 2 or more versions together or different trucks, cars, what ever to sell as a set. Sometimes in same frame.
Maybe front, side, back? It works nice.
