tried it and no luck for me. I sent it to the service centre and it will take 4-6 weeks until I get it back. Thanks for the help though.

nope, nothing work except the shutter release button. I called the service centre and will send it to repair later. Hopefully it won't cost much and take to long to get it back...:(

my K5 LCD screen blackout about 3/4 of the update, i waited a while but the screen still show nothing. I then turn off and on the camera and it seems like the camera is dead (no sounds and LCD screen display upon turning on the camera), except the battery life on the top control panel. I pressed the shutter button, it autofocus and take a shot without showing anything on the screen (neither saving any pictures in the sd card). I removed the batteries, sd card and lens from the camera for 20 min and put it back on, still it doesn't work. What should I do now?
