Appreciate that Kkoether. I understand how to adjust the WB, but which Metering should I use, Spot or Center Weighted?

Thanks for the patience pearsaab. I primarily use auto, although in cases where I get that yellow effect I've tried changing the camera mode to things like Portrait, Landscape, Candlelight, without effect. I wasn't even aware all that detail was stored with a picture, cool! Here's everything in there:
Pentax Optio WG-2
F-Stop: f/3.5
Exposure: 1/30 sec
ISO Speed: ISO-1600
Exposure Bias: 0 step
Focal Length: 5mm
Max Aperature, Subject Distance: (nothing)
Metering mode: Pattern
35mm focal length: 28
White Balance: Auto
EXIF Version: 0230
Horiz/Vert Resolution: 72 dpi
Bit depth: 24
Resolution Unit: 2
Color Representation: sRGB
You also made me realize the above photo was taken with a canon! I've attached a photo that was actually taken with my WG-2 (effect similar, and worst)

pearsaab I must not be understanding your question correctly. Here are literally all the settings I have control over with the camera.
Image Tone: Bright
Record Pixels 16M
Quality Level: 3 stars
WB: AWB
Sensitivity: Auto
AUTO ISO Range: 250-1600
Flash: auto
Autofocus: Normal
AE Metering: Multisegment
EV Compensation: 0
Sharpness/Saturation/Contrast: Unaltered
These are all the settings I have control over with my pns.

Adjusting the WB might work, but flash has been no help. It ends up just blasting the picture.

Thanks for the response pearsaab.
I've attached a photo sampling the problem (and it is often much worse than this). I've also attached a video. My GoPro shot from the same location produced far better, natural-looking video (although obviously I was shooting the wrong way, into the light).
The conditions are indoors when natural light is low. When I have tons of natural light, the pictures look great.
Photo Settings:
Record Pixels 16M
Quality Level: 3 stars
WB: AWB
Sensitivity: Auto
AUTO ISO Range: 250-1600
Flash: auto
Video settings:
Recorded Pixels: 1920/30
Movie SR: checked
please provide additonal info with photos and what settings you are using...particularly what iso, flash, etc...i am wondering if you iso is going up like it should...we had a camera that was defective and would not increase the iso regardless of whether it was sports on regular mode...i am assuming the pictures are ok outdoors? if so please let me know what settings you are using when they work..thanks

Hello! I've been having a frustrating time getting my WG2 to shoot indoors (photos and videos) and was desperately hoping someone here could help me out.
Whenever I'm taking pictures/shooting video indoors, the colors produced are so dark and washed out they're unusable. What I can't figure out after playing with the settings is how to get more natural looking photos that even my phone camera can easily achieve.
I can happily provide more information (or example photos/video). Thank you for your help!
