Maybe I am wrong, but I don't think the wireless works for Bulb exposures. So if you want to do long manual exposures on a tripod, you need a cable release. Not a bad idea to have both in your bag. Probably will be my next purchase.

Hi everyone! I used to own an ME Super and enjoyed it greatly. With the gradual replacement of film by digital, I got a small compact digital camera and realized for my casual use it was easier, so the ME Super went away. My wife and I have had a few different compact digitals, but realized with the kind of pictures we often took (indoors, kids), the compacts did not cut it, so we started looking at DSLR. Our mini DVD video camera is also ancient and we wanted something to take basic home videos with as well. Finally could not pass on a recent K-30 with WR 18-55 deal, so now we have one. THIS IS FUN!!! I remember much of what I knew with the ME Super, and I LOVE being able to play with settings, seeing how certain changes affect a shot without having to develop roll and rolls of film! I am hoping to get much better pictures and even some video of our kids and places we go now. I always join boards of whatever gear I own and I look forward to becoming a participating member here.
