Since this discussion is continuing... What are the duties/customs requirements? Do they fall on the seller from the states or on you the buyer who has to receive the item? If you can give a brief summary of how that works, I (and I hope others) will consider you guys more often. I realize that with the exchange rates, we here in the states have pretty good prices for you.... Now that I have my first sale ( NOT the 1.4x yet) using paypal (not through commercial retailer or ebay) I'll consider overseas selling if it is simply a matter of boxing the item up and sending over the pond... Thanks for the information...I hope it helps you guys out too!

I am selling a Tamron 1.4x teleconverter PZ AF MC4. $120 + shipping (Paypal accepted, Fee for using credit card will be applied). This has sat on the shelf inside the pouch for a long time without use. It has been used just a handful of times. I am new to this selling biz on the forum, so if you want it overseas, I'll need some help in understanding how that all works. Attachment 15427 |

I saw one other recommendation for MPIX.. I TOTALLY support MPIX.com... I have only had one issue with a scratched photo.. They replaced it without question.... Fully professional lab, you can opt for them NOT to do any correction.... Definitely go to MPIX.com!!!! CHEAP for professional developing on professional paper. They process FAST. Check 'em out.

Good Idea on the ND filters.. I have some friends who take nature shots like this and they use the ND filters to knock the light down so they can use the long exposure times.

Cool... Constructive critizism....I did try to do the vignetting effect I have seen others here do. It was late, and now that I look at it this morning, I agree... I will lose the vignetting attempt and repost. Rule #1.. Don't try new things late at night with eyes full of sleep! Thanks.

Which of these PP effects fits this beautiful bride better? The Gaussian Blur, porcelain skin, or the film grain addition? I am partial to the Gaussian Blur, porcelain skin version myself, but that is how I do most of my portrait touching. |

I do recall the 18th was a nice day. I was in Boston that day walking the freedom trail.
I'll post my shots from this park later in the week hopefully.. The weather change gives this place a totally different feel.

Hmmm.. I was just there on Sunday (6/22)!!! It was so foggy, the ocean dissappeared within a quarter mile! We did not venture to this spot where so many shots have been taken of the portland main lighthouse. I was hoping to catch this exact photo...in a week I took over 1000 shots.. time to start sorting. Will post later!! You are lucky to get a blue sky day in Maine!

Another possible solution would be the Pentax 28-105 AL lense. This was one of the first non-kit lenses I bought. It is a nice compact lense that is faster than the kit lenses. It does overlap your focal gaps. New they are only $200. You might be able to find one cheap on ebay. I thought it was a nice all purpose lense. I went away from it when I got the Tamron 28-75 Xr Di 2.8... The constant aperture keeps me using this lense over all others. I did just purchase a 50mm f1.4 and LOVE it.... The lack of zoom has not bothered me yet, but the lense is still novel to me. I do love the pictures from it. Good luck in your search!

Those are great shots, but some things aren't meant to be seen that close! The complexity of those tiny creatures is amazing.

I have had split comments on the trees... I did that to give the photo some depth... Half the people like and the other half don't. I had some other shots without the foliage and to me they didn't illustrate the grandness of the scene. Thanks for the comments!

Very nice shot. It does look like a very relaxing place... The red door tells of a classic home!
