Here is a nice K-01 I picked up on a trade not long ago. Camera is in very good condition with 570 actuations. Comes with body, battery, body cap and charger only. Also included is a Pentax 35-70mm lens in decent shape. Works and is sharp but body has wear. Comes with only a rear cap. If these had a way to put a evf on it I would keep it for sure, but my eyes can't handle the LCD only. I'll ship anywhere in the continental USA for $210 and I'll eat the PP fees.

Here is a Pentax MX-1 I bought a few months ago for taking along on my motorcycle. Camera functions perfectly and the shutter count is around 750 give or take a few. Have original box,charger, battery, and I think I still have the original front cap. I put one of the ones that open upon startup, and it has worked great. Only drawback to the camera is the rear lcd is scuffed and scratched. Not horrible by any means, but certainly not like new. Hopefully the pictures show the amount. It was really hard to get it to show accurately. Really has been a great camera for what I used it for but I replaced it with a bridge camera that has a little better reach. I will ship it anywhere in the lower 48 for $120 obo Thanks for looking

Due to some unforeseen circumstances I may have to give up the photo hobby for awhile. Therefore I am going to offer up my Pentax kit. Would love to sell as a whole kit and a good discount will be applied if interested, however I know that is not a big possibility so I will list some individual prices also. I am not looking to give any of this away but feel the prices are very fair with little negotiation room. All equip is in very good shape with only small evidence of wear unless noted otherwise. Shipping and paypal is included in my price and will sell only within the continental US. Be aware also that unless I get enough interest to sell most of it, I will probably keep all of it. I cannot justify selling just my best pieces. I will attach pictures later today, but we all know what the stuff looks like :)
Pentax K5IIs, under 5500 clicks, box and at least three batteries, missing rubber plug underneath as I always used a grip and somehow misplaced it. $575
Pentax D-BG4 grip with l-ion battery tray $145
Pentax K-01 under 5000 clicks, box, yellow, only very small scratch on lcd keeps this from being mint. $250

Recently bought this K-01 and while it is a wonderful camera the opportunity to get another K5II body has arisen so this one must go. Shutter count is under 5000 comes with all the normal stuff in the box. Camera is perfect except one tiny scratch on the LCD which cannot be seen when viewing, very minimal. I will let it go for $260 shipping and PP fees included. Oh BTW its the yellow one:) I'll post some pictures later, but we all know what a brick looks like :) For a extra $25 I'll include a beat up, but very functional F 35-70 that is a perfect compliment to this camera.

Oh make no mistake the DA*300 is not only my best lens, but also my favorite. Sometimes though it just does not want to lock in especially in lower light or when there are many branches involved. All in all though I would not trade it for anything. I too am waiting for the 1.4X to drop just a little before I make the jump. And yes being retired taking pictures of critters has filled a gap for me that I totally enjoy :)

Hey thanks I appreciate that. Compared to what I see many that post here I consider my attempts...well, feeble :) Anyway I am totally enamored with wildlife photography and Hummers and Raptors in particular. I just got into the hobby around a year ago and have been enjoying it immensely. I like to catch hummers with natural light as I would not even know how to capture them with flash. They visited my feeders quite a lot during the spring migration, now I seem to have just a resident few. Usually the fall migration is much busier. The last shot was very difficult, low light and having trouble zeroing in the focus. I love my DA*300 but sometime I wish it were faster!

Looking to sell or trade my K10D with grip. Camera has around 22k shutter clicks and is very good condition. Has a LL-80 focus screen installed. Grip is aftermarket and works, but sometimes the latch opens, so not a big deal but wanted to mention it. Comes with original box, charger, and two batteries. Want to sell for $100 or trade towards a K-01 body. I would pay $150 on top of the K10D for a K-01 body. Shipping and PP are on me.

I finished up this am with the lens align. Another huge thanks goes out to comprock for the use. On another note here is my opinion of the lens align system. While it does work I found it to be just like the focus tune software (which I own) very clunky. For most folks (including me) there are just too many hoops to jump through to get it right. I found correct alignment to be very difficult and finally realized that this is best done indoors in a studio, which I do not have. I can't believe someone has not been able to fashion some software that would make this a very automated task. On a plus note out of four lenses only my Sigma 105mm macro needed any adjustment with my K5iis and it was small. Off the pdo as soon as I get his info!

Up today is my Pentax DA 70mm f2.4. In great condition and comes with caps, hood, and leather carry bag. Only the box is missing. No issues with captures but I did not one aperture blade on the front looks kind of shiny? No oil on elements or anywhere else just on the one blade that looks shiny. This is why I am asking $100 less than what I see them go for here regularly. Found something else I would like to buy so Looking for a very quick sale $look below shipped and paypaled.
Next is a beater Pentax F 70-210mm f4-5.6. These are great old lenses for what they are. This one functions perfectly but has a few spots of dead fungus. Does not seem to affect pictures. Minimal internal dust. Looking for $25 shipped and paypaled, or best offer.
Might trade one or both for something in the 90-105mm range. The 70 was just not quite long enough for what I need. Would also consider a 70-200 f2.8 of some kind or something similar. Will of course be adding cash TBD.
As per a few requests I tried to capture the blades at fully stopped and half way. Did not realize that capture would be so difficult so I did the best I could. Really its one blade on the front side and not even sure you can see it here.
Attention! For the rest of this evening I am dropping the price of the DA 70 to $230 shipped in the USA. Really there is nothing wrong with this lens and where you going to get one of these for under $250? I'll even throw in the other lens listed for $10 extra!

This Osprey family is nesting down the road from my house. She has been on the eggs for three weeks or more. Should be seeing little heads popping up soon. Mom and Pop are always close by and let me know when I am getting to close. Actually though they are quite tolerant of the fat guy with a camera.

I do like the EVF and will miss that in most any other compact, which BTW I would not consider this a compact but not as big as a dslr. Anyway ya'll know what it is.
