SOLD! PentaxForums.com Marketplace Listing Item for Sale
Gary Fong Lightsphere II Kit Asking Price
$70 Item Description
This is a GREAT kit for almost ANY ocasion. It includes the clear and the frosted domes, inverted reflectors and the amber reflector. I am also throwing in a hard diffuser that also fits the same flash.
These are size P2/C and fit the AF540FGZ flash as well as many others. Go to Gary Fong's website to verify size if you are going to use it on any other flash.
I have switched brands and can not use this setup on my new flash.

Latest price is posted in the original thread. You can figure shipping better than I can. Pick your preferred carrier and calculate shipping from zipcode 93436 to your location. Approximate weight would be 6 lbs.

I still have both.
Faster, sharper, more features, well-worth it!

I just received the lens back this evening. Pentax fixed it under warranty. Workorder says they replaced electronic/mechanical components and adjusted lens back to factory specs. I think there may be some generic language in there and I may never know what they did exactly.
How does it work? No idea yet. The recent death of a friend and a couple projects for his widow have me tied up. I pulled it out of the box and slid it into the case. I'll shoot some shots when I get a little time and let you know how it works.

Still waiting for it. I'm claiming WARRANTY and they have not called with an estimate. If they accept it as warranty work, they will repair and return without contacting me.
I'll let you know.

Personally, I think the first one is GREAT, except for the softness. If the original was sharp, I would run a soften filter on it for the same affect, but restore sharpness to the face.
Same for second shot.
Lovely daughter, great photos, slightly distracting background... my own personal achilles heal.

I JUST ordered this lens... good luck on the sale. I have heard nothing but good about it. Is there a reason you are getting rid of it?

FWIW, my 50mm F1.4 is back at Pentax for a severe front-focus issue. WHEN it was focused correctly, it looked great, but it would not focus there on its own. Not even the focus compensation of the K20 was enough. Hope to have it back soon!

Portrait photography is my weakness and I DO want to get better. I have taken a class on photography where we worked on some portraits, but I am always looking for new information.
I prefer scenery (landscape) photography but I know there is a real market for portraits/events. It's all about the lighting, I know.
Trust me, I'll be doing a lot more reading than posting and I'm sure the questions will begin soon after.

I have been lurking for a while and wanted to get a first post out of the way. Lots of great information on this site. Thanks for all the inputs and I look forward to paying back a little when I get smarter about this stuff.
