Ha really appreciate it folks. Ah cool Joel, i like Iowa...got my last deer up there. Trying to be patient for this camera but hell, it's like telling a fat kid about a pie eating contest in three days.

I've disassembled a couple Nikon 18-200 VR lenses all the way down to clean and replace an AF motor. Takes a lot of patience but was worth it in the end. If you can get it for a really good deal and feel like a challenge, i say give it a go. Just don't remove the front lens. I've heard it has to get sent to a shop for re-alignment if you do that.

Hope everybody's having a fun or at least interesting day. I'm new to the Pentax world, or well i should say i'm about to be. I have a K5 IIs on the way with a 55mm DA* 1.4, hopefully they'll arrive next week. Was just about to stay in the Nikon world with a D7100 to replace my ancient D50 until i do what i usually do and drive myself insane doing research. The only logical conclusion was to buy something that i'd never heard of or seen before. Many of you steered me in the right direction without even knowing it so i thank you for your hard work. I'm stationed in Germany so i travel all around Europe these days. I'll try to post pictures of some cool, off the wall, places when the new gear gets in. Have a good night, it's bed time for me.
