there still might be an issue on the AA's, there seems to be a lag in the camera releasing for the next shot, I am assuming this is the write time and I have a very fast card in the camera wintech professional 60/40 (R/W) and I didn't have that before this issue. Could the slower write time be due to the AA's.

Yes it does seem to work better on the AA. Could it be that both new batteries, one came with the camera and the 2nd from another vendor are bad?

I have had the camera for a little over a month. I absolutely have been having a wonderful time learning photography with it (taking classes). Yesterday something weird happened. While shooting the battery died quickly, it showed 3/4 full when I started and I only took about 20 pics with bracketing on in low light. So the camera shut down and i replaced the battery with a fresh one. About 15 shots later I was getting this pattern; push the shutter then, (click - click click- click) (click-click click-click) (click-click click-click), each bracket I am assuming. The shutter would activate with each click, yet I would only end up with 3 shots, one for each of the bracketing exposures. The second shot did the same thing then the camera froze and I had to remove the battery, it wouldn't even shut down with the switch. I need to take more pictures so I tried used the AA adaptor and the camera seemed to work fine with that but I couldn't use the bracketing mode. When I got home I charged both batters and tried using them today with the same results. So any suggestions, both of the batters are less than two months old?
