Thanks, you are correct I was overthinking it. I followed what you said and the screen is back on.
That is so simple, I feel like a dunce for not understanding it.

When I press info twice it goes to the screen that displays status screen, toggle right to electronic screen, toggle right to display which indicates display off. At this point when I hit any button the screen goes black as it should, I don't know how to change the display to display on.

I turned off the monitor and now I cannot turn it back on. I cannot find any clear info in the manual
how to do this. Help!

My experience with the camera freezing is some what similar but different. I was in the menu screen and scrolling forward and it just locked up. I could nor scroll forward or backwards. I turned off the camera and nothing happened. The screen stayed on. I had to pull the battery and reinstall and it functioned perfectly. My thought was that I was scrolling to fast and it locked up. This has not happened any more but will keep and eye out for it.

Hello, This site helped me make a decision as to my next camera. I took advantage of your deal with B&H for my new K3. I also ordered a Tamron 17-50 lens. I am looking forward to explore all the good things from a K3. Thanks again for all the help.
