I am having the same problem as well .Specs of dust are visible in landscapes with clear sky background etc. Very nauseating. Have also tried the dust removal feature twice which failed to remove the dust. I'm thinking the Pentax sensor cleaning kit is probably the best route.

Greetings fellow Pentaxians,
I have owned a K-30 since boxing day 2012 w/ 18-135 mm lens.
Being on the Southwestern coast of B.C. I do a lot of hiking and exploring of
the outdoors . Most of my photos reflect the local wild life
or landscapes . Looking forward to sharing photos and info with all
of you fine people!
