Her name is Anna and she is 4 years old. She is my neighbour's daughter. Her mother was planting winter flowers and she was playing amongst young Chrysanthemum blooms... The sun was setting and the rays against her hair and eyes made up for a cute portrait.

It's springtime in Kalaktang, Arunachal Pradesh, India.... The place is is a small rustic Himalayan town. It's quite windy here and this wild plant is blooming everywhere... It was raining for couple of days and today the sun is shining brightly so the kid is basking lazily under the Spring sun.

Thank you. I use digital medium too but I am in love with film photography and love my Pentax MX so this is also a shout out to fellow Photographers who love Film still. There is something irrestible about film but yes, when it gets too impossible then maybe I'll give up but I'll enjoy it as far as I can...

Hi everyone, I am from a very remote corner of India- Basar, Arunachal Pradesh, India. Not that it is important but I guess I am the first Galo tribal lady in the forum... yees. :D
I got into film photography very recently and I am in love with it even though getting films and developing them is nearly impossible for me right now, I am trying to keep it alive in this remote corner of the world somehow.
I am 5 feet tall and I always wanted a small D/SLR camera for my tiny fingers and luckily, I bid on Pentax MX online and won it. Probably it was my best, smartest and even luckiest win so far. It is very tiny and I love the classic design. It is very easy and fun to use it. The downside would be the erratic meter and cost of the film and developing them.

Hello... I see that no one has replied to you... After 6 yrs... I have similar problem. Recently I purchased SMC Pentax 28mm f/2.8 lens from *bay.in and realized that the plate besides the diaphragm actuator is broken. Now I don;t know the purpose of the that plate. I guess, it helps keeping Diaphragm actuator from accidental bending when dropped or something.
If you have got your answer please do enlighten me too because I am pondering if I should return the lens or keep it. It got it for INR Rupees 3200 ($51.82)...
