HD Pentax 1.4x TC & Mixed Lenses Pictures

You are right and the Sigma TC is pretty good. But I am asking myself if the Pentax TC is similar or better in IQ? And because I would really like if the K-3 shows the right aperture and works with right FL so I could use shake reduction due to missing OS of the lens.

I hope it is the right thread to ask.

Has anybody tried the Pentax HD 1.4x TC with the Sigma 100-300/f4 APO DG?

I use the lens with the Sigma 1.4x APO DG and can't find any sample images of the lens with the Pentax TC. I'm thinking about to upgrade from Sigma TC to Pentax, but is it worth it?

Thank you Susan and MSL. It is my first manual focus lens and I am really happy that it fits to me.
But the first and second one are made with the FA 43mm. Sorry I didn't say that. But it is kind of magic too. ;)

Me too.

Thank you!
Uugh, I have to clean my screen... checked. ;) Do you mean the white spots on the right in the first and fourth picture? That's just bad pp... :o
In the first picture there is a limb of a bush that reflects the sunlight. In the fourth picture the sun partially shines through the trees.

On Wednesday morning I was on the way to my next customer and I had to stop as I saw the light between the trees.
This was also my first try with the Voigtlander APO Lanthar 90mm/3.5 SLII (picture #3 and #4) I have received one week ago. I think I already like it. :)

Thank you Rondec! I am so glad that it works. And some white balance adjustments are not a real issue.

Am I right in thinking that Camera RAW can open K-3 DNGs?
I am asking because I use Photoshop CC with my K-5 DNGs and today I have ordered a K-3  and still like to use Photoshop CC and Camera RAW.

Thanks. I was watching this forum for about one year and now I will enjoy it even more.
I like the lens clubs and reviews and it helped me to find the right stuff for my K5. Yesterday I have received my new DA* 16-50mm/2.8 and it is amazing. I think I have to go out now...

Hi.

Since I have sold my Nikon F-401X in 1997 I don't had any SLR till fall 2012. Fortunately I have sold my Nikon lenses too so I was free to choose another brand. In fall 2012 I have bought my K5 and I love it. For me it was the right way to go. Later I was infected by LBA... :o and I like it even more to go out with the K5.
Hope for a good time here... I am sure it will be.

Regards
Sebastian
