A recent leak shows three new Canon lenses, but only one really caught my eye:
I must say, I love me some pancakes, and my 40mm 2.8 XS spends the most amount of time on my K30.
I'm to understand that Pentax and Canon use a similar lens formula for their 40mm pancakes... Anyone think a Pentax 24mm pancake is possible?
Honestly, it would be awesome for street photography. I've been considering going for the 28mm 2.8, but I love my pancake. I would buy a 28mm or 24mm 2.8 or faster pancake in a split second. WR would be a dream, but even without it.

Pentax, if you're listening...
My WG-4 Wishlist (in order of perceived plausibility):
- Better IQ overall
- Better battery life
- Better ISO performance
- Aperture Priority (ala Olympus TG-2)
- RAW files
- ... a slightly bigger sensor?
The Olympus TG-2 (or whatever becomes its successor) is giving a run for my money as I wait to see what the next gen of compact waterproof cameras offer...

I wonder how this tripod would compare to the "Slik Sprint Mini II"
I bought the Slik a bit ago but haven't really used it much, so I'm considering if I should ebay it off and go for this one.
Ideally the most compact and light one is what I'm going for, as I don't want my photography equipment to have too much of a presence in my single pack.

The K-30's weather sealing really shone when at "The Color Run." I previously had a Nikon D5100 and I would have never taken it there. In fact, I saw another photog there with a large encumbered bag over his camera. He was probably used to it, but I'm glad I didn't have to worry about it, for the most part.

I've been trying to decide between this (or the 40mm XS) and the Sigma 30mm 1.4..
I've decided that I'll probably use the Sigma for work and while I'm in the states, and when I travel I would use the pancake I guess.
I just wish there was a nice really large aperture regular pancake. Something around 30mm and 1.8
BTW, new user here!
