My favorite photo from 2017. I don't recall the lens, but I know it was a Pentax super zoom. The subject is a client of mine who works in medical transcription. Her hands have been through it all.

My favorite flash. (the 522 is my 2nd favorite). Anywho, on mine, the standard head is listed as SH-1. I don't see new ones on B&H's website. Used ones (heads) are available at the usual places. I don't know if you've seen it in person, so here it is next to the K-5. |

My first attempt with a music video on my K5 with Pentax Lenses (-M 1.4, -M 1.7, Pentax-F 70-210, & DA 18-55)
Underground Rap, so hit mute if this is not your thing. Nothing bad in the visuals. You Tube |

Would be nice if they at least let us buy ($25)an updated firmware for the classic K5. Perhaps with manual video controls. *dreams*

Even easier, throw a FF sensor in the 645D. Instant FF. Well call it the K1337.
And then take things one step farther. Make one with interchangeable sensor cassettes. So you can have your FF, APS-C. APS-H, Four thirds, 1/2.3, etc. In the tradition of funny Pentax camera names (ie *ist), this one will be called the K1337 / (slash).

Whoa whoa. Hold on there. Does anyone else have confirmation of a new firmware coming out? I had resigned myself to having to use the work around to "manually" set stuff for video. I don't need my hopes be risen again just have them smashed into little bits. :hmm:
