Thanks all for your responses.
I managed to get the Sigma 10-20mm f4-5.6 for $350 (Aus), which was by far the cheapest option. And it's definitely doing the job so far.

Thank you everyone for your swift responses. I'm not sure if I'm any closer to choosing the right lens though!
The Pentax 14mm would be top of my list if I could justify its cost, which is why the 15mm prime or the 10-20mm zoom appear the best of the two at the peak of my budget. I do keep going back to the reviews of the Tamron, but they seem such varied responses.
Thanks again, and great to see all of your shots.

Hi all, I'm a newbie here but a long time Pentax enthusiast.
There are heaps of great threads on here, but I'd love the opinions and expertise of these two lenses I've narrowed my choice down to - or good reasons why I've wrongly ignored others.
The Pentax DA 15mm f/4 and the Sigma 10-20mm f/3.5 are about as far as my budget can stretch and am looking specifically for something to compliment my Pentax DA 35mm f/2.4. I'm anticipating shooting indoor as much as landscapes at this stage, so fast, decent with indoor light, without breaking the bank just about sums up the perfect lens. Does this exist?? Haha.
Thanks in advance.
