Thanks Dave. It seems I was right at the 500 image limit and that's why the processed jpegs went into a new folder.
Tried again and they store in the same folder now. Much appreciated.

When using in camera raw conversion with my new Pentax K50 the jpeg files are put into a new folder (named ***PENTX) and any subsequent new shots (raw or jpeg) are put into this new folder. Is there a way to store the jpeg files in the same folder as the raw files?

Using macro button on telephoto lens

I just bought this lens and one of the bothersome things is if you use the macro button to switch and then autofocus on a close subject you won't be able to move the switch back to its normal position. You have to switch to manual focus, increase the focus distance to something greater than 1.5m and then you can set the switch back to normal.
