Years ago, I talked with the chief of development and the brain of this *50 ,it's a 100 percent Ricoh Pentax lens.

Sales are significantly higher than Ricoh expected, the camera has also brought some new customers to Pentax.
All in all, Ricoh did everything right. :rolleyes:

Not still running again running since Ricoh kicked the decision to end the fullframe limiteds.
This line was completely out of production and not available anymore.
Only last badges in Japan and US.
This video is a couple of month old and is made in Vietnam limited section.
Ricoh decision was to return the fullframe limiteds and to renew lenses like the 2.0 35.
Also renew an APS-C lens.
But that's only a small peace of all.

Both new converters are fullframe and with all AF systems compatible.
But still no exactly shipping date.
Still in late prototype condition.
Maybe because of the new tele lenses.

OK.....more lenses in near future than I thought.....a clear plan about the different systems, new service like Japan and lenses and maybe September a clear statement about the Pentax future in the Ricoh family :)
Sorry, that must be all about this.
But, amateur photographer is so wrong.....wronger like the rain weather forecast for Las Vegas :lol:

Sorry, little mistake.
No more screwdrive in new Pro* lenses and new lenses mostly with the new electronically aperture.
Converters looks like fully compatible.
But we have to wait for more specifics.
But, it looks really good.
Lots of new developments

Yes, there are some strategies in progress for a pro service and a rental service.
Maybe more in September,it's not allowed to talk about.
But only that, Pentax is not sleeping anymore.
But Pentax is still small and only 1.6 percent of Ricoh,so anything needs a little bit longer.
We are hoping that Pentax bring a new roadmap,it would be a very nice gift I think ;)

April the first shipping step, there is still NO 100%price information,but in Europe it looks like 1199 ~ 1299 and USA like 1300 +-.
But nothing officially till today.
Yen price is fixed but he didn't told me this price Friday :p
But the first steps are in lower numbers.... :lol:
