Tamron 70-200/2.8 on K-S2, shot at the www.zoom-erlebniswelt.de in Gelsenkirchen
I think there's some frontfocussing going on, becoming quite evident when shot wide open (not so clearly visible on these pics, though), leading to an overall glowy softness in the parts I meant to be sharp.
But I think it works well for these two, especially the first picture:
200mm, 1/1000s, f/2.8, ISO 160 Sea Lion
200mm, 1/1000s, f/2.8, ISO 250 Sea Lion
200mm, 1/1000s, f/4, ISO 200 (could have bumped the overall exposure, but those are all ooc) Sea Lion
200mm, 1/1000s, f/4, ISO 400 Sea Lion |

Here is one from San Francisco using the Lomo LCA120 and Lomochrome Purple Film. Definitely a unique look to this film.
EDIT: Was just informed that this is actually in New York City. Sorry for the error.

Just upgraded from the K10D to the K-5 IIs a few weeks ago. The pink azalea was shot with a Pentax-M 50mm F1.7 The Bradford Pear blossoms were shot with a Sigma DC 17-70mm f2.8-4.5.

Fisheye is so much fun :) in moderation. I love my K-5IIs, can't justify buying any new body as I don't think I'll see much improvement for what I need.
With my quirky Tamron 17-50 2.8 it makes a great combo... my Tamron back focuses on the "long" end and makes it very hard to adjust, so I just avoid 50mm FL

Based on that shot I'd say it was worth it.
Here's a little deer bokeh with the 55-300 PLM @300/6.3.
And same deer with the Mamiya 55/1.8 |
