Thank you, Agility is one of the animal sports where there almost has to be a special link between handler and dog. They are referred to as teams rather than dog and owner. It is a thrill to catch the moment.

I certainly nominate this photo. Sometimes the best shots are not exactly how we planned it but you were certainly set up for lighting and angle. For a first ot 1000th street shot, this is good.

You are right. I try to hold the aperture at 2.8 on my 70-200 but it does not look like I did it here. Thank you.

Thank you sam-Joseph. Colors washed? I am sure that the K-3 would take care of that from the K-3 photos that I see. Actually, I had to tone down the colors. The Background has really strong blues and reds. Even with the aperture at 2.8 (I think) I could not blur the background as well as I would have liked. I think a little washing was required to keep the background from overwhelming the subject even more than it does now. Photoshop probably has a solution but I don't know the program as well as I could.

This happy woman enjoys competing in agility. The beautiful Border Collie was working hard. This is my entry for the Pentax K-3. My K-10 is still a great camera but have read great reviews about the K-3.

I only recently replaced my K10d for a camera with better ISO performance since I am doing a lot of action shots. I was continually surprised that there were so few positive reviews on the camera. It seemed it was being dismissed by the photography community. I think it is a well made camera and still has many hard to find features like good weatherproofing.
