Thank you Lowell, the background is an A4 print of an out of focus sky printed on to card. I tend to have a stock of such images for backgrounds in macro work. Health is getting back after suffering a bad stroke which left me parallelised on my right side but have now recovered reasonably well thank you.

Have not posted on here for a long time due to health issues, but had a play in my little home studio with my Pluto trigger, what a great piece of kit. Anyway here is one of my favourite shots .

Well here goes for my first post and looking at some of the images on this forum I feel very much a beginner but keen amature . this was taken one early morning while on holiday 2 weeks ago, I loved the way the sun broke through the cloud and lit up the mist and made it golden , just wish I could have done it justice. PP in elements 10. Thank you for looking.

Hi one and all , I am a 58 year old scot with a passion for photography and apart from my very first slr that was a Zenith (Russian I believe ) all my cameras through film to DSlr have been pentax.
I have 4 bodys at present my first digital slr the K100D , then I acquired a second body a KM , after that I moved up to a K10d and have now got an K20d , I love my 10d so hoping the 20d will be just as good.
I will basically take images of anything and everything but particularly like motor sport and landscapes etc and of course the grand children, I tend to take a lot of images when I holiday in Scotland most years when I go and see family in Aberdeenshire, oil capital of the uk but it has so much more than that.
I hope I will be posting images regularly for critique and appraisal so look forward to meeting you online ..
