I have a Sigma 8-16mm. I guess still usable at 15-16mm. So will not sell away.
And I have a Promaster 19-35mm f3.5-4.5, it probably can work too.
I don't think I can afford the D FA 15-30mm f2.8.

I think it's a sensible product of a 1st time FF DSLR body, at a good price. Not some over the top spec and a high price point which many of us might not be able to afford.
