For these shots I used a a P-L filter, that worked well for the other E6 I have experience with, the Agfa 100 (I heard it's in reality Sensia).

I finally got the first scans from my only roll of Ektachrome I bought.
Not impressed by this film, it has a strong blue cast.

Unfortunately the kid was using a digital Canon with cropped sensor, on the other I think I took this pic with a Nikon F2A if I remember correctly.

This in another pic of the Goodwood series, the car is a Porsche 550 Spyder, mostly famous for being the car in which James Dean killed himself...the first one I have seen in my life that is not silver or white. You can see more pics here: =planes, trains, boats and automobiles= - Page 200 - PentaxForums.com
The kid, I don't know, he was just a kid with a Canon cropped sensor camera that took a pic of me because of my analogic beast I assume.

It appears it might be something minor but I wouldn't recommend to try to fix it on your own...if you want to invest in a CLA I am pretty sure some reputable tech will sort it out.

Sometimes you capture a stranger....sometimes the stranger captures you when you are shooting a Porsche 550.

You guys were right, I developed the last roll of that event (Goodwood 2018) with another lab and there were no issues...these were taken with the Nikon F2A as I didn't have a 300mm lens in K mount.

I have an 88 with the last spot lightmeter they made (quite good, a lot of people use it on Hasselblad) and besides the nutcracker noise that makes me feel it's about to self destroy in any minute it's a capable but slow camera to operate.
This is the Ukrainian monstrousity.

Aahhahah. Indiscreet question.
If we remain in the Pentax realm I have:
1) K50mm f1.2 (the king).
2) two K50mm f1.4
3) a M50mm f1.4
4) few M50mm f1.7
5) an A50mm f1.4
6) few A 50mm f1.7
7) two Takumar 50mm f1.4
8) a macro Takumar 50mm f3.5
I don't mention the 55mm and the non Pentax glass.

Nice but you need some serious CZJ glass like the Pancolar 50mm f1.8, or the Sonnar 135mm f3.5. Also the Sonnar 200mm f2.8 is a killer lens but very pricey.

I also have the same problem and that's the reason why I am not a great fan of the KX for instance...in this case I would suggest to upgrade to an F-1, I have been told a split image screen for the FTB exists but I have never seen one.
More 'zilla's pics from the same roll.

I think the FTB is a nice and underrated camera, I don't use mine that much as I have its big brother, Godzilla aka F-1n. Besides the size it's a joy to use.
Canon F-1n, FD55mm f1.8, P-L filter and Portra 160.

Here there are the schemes of the two lenses: Canon FD Standard lenses at 50mm Focal Length
While the AL is well researched the "plebeian" non aspherical 55mm f1.2 is more elusive, but from what I see on the link above I don't see any reason why the AL canot be converted, the main difference is that it looks longer as it has more elements including a floating one.
However, the performance of this lens is excellent open and stepped down, apologies for the unbokeh'd pics.

Yes I was thinking about getting the 55mm f1.2 aspherical but due to the results of this lens I am reconsidering it. It also has a peculiar color rendering.

Is my imagination or there is a hint of swirly bokeh in this Canon FD 55mm f1.2 when I shoot open wide?

No idea, perhaps the scan?
I took other pics as there were fireworks and still the issue is visible.
