My problem is the temptation to buy an LX on ebay. I wear glasses and I want to do candid street photography - so the LX with action finder seems an amazing combo.

OK....so when he talks about 20+ megapixels does he mean the theoretical pixel count of film? And he just has a standard LX?

Maybe it's just a promotional doodad for retaillers?
If I buy it and it's not a lens at least I could get a refund!

Hope this isn't breaking any rules, but I'm intrigued by this funny looking lens on ebay. I've asked the seller what it is but he says the only lettering on it is Tele Rikenon Lens, Made In Japan, 16875. I suppose the number is probably a serial number? I have a Spotmatic and a Ricoh KR-10 so I probably could use this lens...if it works...and if it's really a lens. What the hell is it??? RIKENON, Ricoh Telephoto Lense. 16875. Collectors | eBay |

Thanks for the welcome everyone!
Interesting tip about Boots - who'd a thunk it. I also discovered a photography centre 200 yards from me, with every conceivable service. If they let me take out a student membership I can get processing for £4.15. I think. I don't know enough to understand their tariff properly Black & White and Colour Film Processing, London/Photofusion Maybe the processing fee doesn't include any prints.

Hi everyone, just starting out in photography, got myself a Spotmatic and some lenses to learn with. I don't even have any film yet. Or a battery! So...where do UK people buy their film and get their processing done???
