Love the sharp side lighting and exposure in #14. #8 "to me" is associated more with front page news and disaster.

Yes, I have "tried" and "done it" many times over my 72 years. Your fore front adds much to the very sharp shot of the eclipse.

Great shot, and the effort you had to put into this is time consuming. Well Done!

Welcome Kharan, and I to joined yesterday. You sure have a beautiful scenic country in Chile for your Pentax equipment to capture. I have friends that go Steelhead fishing from here during your spring and fall time, and really enjoy the knowledge of the fishing guides.

I'm from Thunder Bay, and I finally did see the 3.5/50mm lens listed. I have to be honest, the photography on here by the members is outstanding; and in much variety. I do shoot film in my 3F Leica, but in all my years I keep going back to my Pentax Cameras and Lenses more so. Thanks to all for the warm welcome.

Hi Dave
I have a problem right now that they are all on Provia. If I can wake up my friend one of these days with his scanner, I would love to post them up. They will come shortly.

Just want to say Hi to all you Pentax followers. I've been shooting with Pentax cameras since the early '60s. I'm ancient at 71 years, and I dropped by to read on what some of you had to say about the Digital Camera models. Yes I do you own, and only have 10 shots through my K10D when I bought it new in '99. I still shoot a lot with my (2) PZ1ps, and much more time with my SP1000 and K model, because of the variety of quality lenses I have for them. I did notice something very odd in the 37mm section of rangefinder lenses, that no where could I find a picture or right up on the blazing Asahi-Kogaku 1:35 - 50mm. I do own serial #515xx in a 9.5 grade. I'm not selling it as it's for my Asahiflex IIB. Are they that rare?. I probably should have asked this in another location, and I'm sure I'll hear.. Lol

This is my 1st post and what I'm seeing in pic's is outstanding. I was lucky enough in the early 90's to get in on the Tamron SP 300mm F2.8 LD-(If) Lens. As some of you older guys remember there was a Licensing problem between the 2 companies, and very very few were made. When I went to purchase mine, they were all gone already in North America, but my dealer found the last one in a store in Germany. This lens is blazing sharp on my wildlife stuff, and you can always count the feathers on the birds and whiskers off the fox nose. LOL
