Looked through the forums and found a FF lens is coming out this year (it will be available in Canon, Nikon,Pentax K, Sony A and E mount). It is LAOWA Smooth Transition Focus (STF) 105mm F2.0 (T3.2) Manual Focus. A direct comparison of this lens is Minolta/Sony 135mm f2.8 [T4.50] STF.
LAOWA belongs to a Chinese startup, which makes 60mm F2.8 2:1 macro and 15mm F4 1:1 macro (which are also available in Pentax K). I learned that a 12mm F2.8 FF lens (in Pentax K again) will also be released soon!!!

I do not expect any new feature change. Ricoh can simply rename K1II to Pentax K1F and we will get another wonderful five years :-)

If you want one prime lens for all, I recommend FA 31 1.8. One lens to rule them all...
Cheap alternative : da 35 2.4 or da 50 1.8 or fa 35 f2 or fa 43 1.9...

A 12fps and 4K 30p in the current industry standard are not acceptable for a flagship. Especially it targets for a price with $2500 tag or even higher. For this price range, it requires 30fps and 4K 120p... It cannot compete with other brands with similar price Fuji T4,Sony A4R4 or Canon R6 .... The only merit is 1.05x OVF for DSLR. But any FF DSLR has a similar size of OVF... it is doomed to be cancelled or postponed indefinitely.,.
It is good that they realized that their flagship to be announced has already been out of date as mentioned in the statement...

As a final summary of this thread( I had posted too much), i can say three wow items:
1) price $1799 launch price fully unexpected before
2) 5 axis Stabilization => 5 stops , man!
3) pixel shifting => beat 645 system this time in terms of noise and colors!
Exciting is just a new beginning!

I have the same feeling. I measured the viewfinder size based on the leaked pictures which is about 1.3x of K3... So it should be 0.76x... Anyway, my measurement is subject to errors...

Yes. Something big happened today. LIGO project announced first detection of Gravitational wave and first detection of black hole merging this morning. The event itself is detected at 9/14/2015 and happened 1.3billion years ago.
One of most exciting science events in our lifetime...
