Beautiful! Maybe the subject on the top-right third would have been better, and it's a bit overexposed (easy to modify in post-production). Anyway great capture!! ;)

Good point of view! But it appears to have few detail, probably the subject wasn't completely motionless... What about lighting condition? Have you used a flash?

Thanks both! :)

This lens is ManualFocus. Now there's a new AF model of Tamron 90mm f2.8 Macro, a very good lens. But the MF version is cheaper and in macrofotography it happens more often to use manual focus than autofocus :) But if you want to use this lens also for portrait AF is very useful

I really appreciated this series! You are so close to the subjects that who is watching the photos is really involved, as in a good movie. Also the nearest unfocused objects (forniture...) strenghten this impression. I don't like the cutted-off male right foot in the first shot and the girl walking alone partially covered by the white piece of forniture. But these are details... It's definitively a fantastic job. I felt "watching a film" so much that when the girl watch in camera it's almost scaring or disquieting. Really impressive. It's only my opinion.

Hi to all!!!
I'm an italian pentaxian! :) I have always followed this forum, since I've owned a Pentax camera (more than 2 years ago) because it's a very useful and well-done website, containing an impressive quantity of information about the Pentax world.
This site was crucial for the choice of my first DSLR, I have already read your beautiful "k-r review" and all the improvements referring to the k-x. I also like to watch the user reviews of lenses and to see the beautiful photos posted there. Now I've decided to join this community because my english is getting better (very slowly :hmm:) and maybe I can try to communicate with you all. If I make some mistakes (highly probable) please feel free to fix it, so I can improve my english and communicate more easily with you all, learning not only about photography but also about english (in a free and enjoing way ).
Usually I like to obtain a better result with less money. This is the reason why I chose Pentax.
I like macro-photography (I'll post some photos later or in these days).
Now I'm trying to experiment with still-life but i found it's really difficult to manage different light-sources avoiding shadows or bad light reflections and to obtain a not-disturbing background.
I like also portrait photography, but I don't have a specific AF lens and manual focus is not so easy in the pentamirror (but also in the pentaprism of other Canon-Nikon.. cameras I've tried). It's much better with the Live View zoom (the live view of the k-r is fantastic! really detailed!). But also to find a model for free it's not so easy and my girlfriend doesn't like to pose for me too much
In addition, I'm very busy in this period and I have short time for taking photos :( so you'll see my "old" photos first :p
I will see you around there! :D
