HI have some items listed for sale. I am having trouble replying to messages from buyers.I follow the link fro email to respond; sometimes it sends and oftentimes ir doesn't. I'm afraid i will lose a sale as I have a buyer and don't think that they are getting my responses.

For sale is a Pentax DA SMC 55-300 ED f4-5.8 Tele lens asking $150 plus shipping of $13.95 comes with from and rear lens caps and lens hood and carry bag . lens and body are pristine , with no haze or fungus or dust on lens. body is free of marks nicks dents etc. I used this lens in Kenya on safari with amazing results. I can provide actual photos taken if you pm me I am selling off all my Penatx gear and moving to mirrorless for ease of travel now that I am older

Pentax K 50 body only for sale in Mint condition I purchased this in 2014 fro B&H in august of 2014. It has been rarely used and out of my house once. camera is weather sealed and looks brand new comes with original box. Included is battery charger and wasabi extra charger with 2 extra batteries. I am in the process of selling off my Pentax gear and moving to mirrorless because I'm older and need lighter gear while traveling .asking $225

Got mine today. It's a real tamrac. I think it's a little tight fit for my k50 with 18-200 lens attached. Got my smaller Tammy in there as well though. Not much room left for either my 55-300 or Metz flash. Velcro separators are a pain to deal with. It's nice but I'm glad I paid $15. Don't think it's worth the amazon price though.

I thought I posted this here but apparently was posted on field accessories. Anyway, I am looking at the manfrotto 294 and the oben ct 2500. It seems that because the oben includes the swivel head that it may be the better way to go. Your thoughts please

I wish there was a magic lantern book for the k50. I bought one for my k10 and it really explained how to get the best out of your camera.

Ok so now I'm a little confused. I have the k50. I set my AF button to enable AF 2 and the side button to "c" on the camera is that correct?

I've been watching a few tutorials ( Northrop / perry ) that espouse the virtue of using the back button for autofocus lock instead of using the shutter release button. Is this really a good idea. Do a lot of you pentaxians use this method?

I would like to assign my raw/fx button to optical or digital preview. Whic one is more practical to use. Or, is there a better use for this button?

I don't if this is the proper forum for this question, but I have a pentax SF10 with takumar 28-200 and 28-70 zoom. Is there a market for this equipment? I would like to sell them. The camera and lenses are in excellent condition. Thanks

I went on Safari to Kenya in 2008. I took my k10 with my pentax 55-300 and I took the best photos of my life. I used a bean bag to mount the camera on top of our vehicle for stability. In my humble opinion , that's all you need. Have fun and be prepared for the trip of a lifetime.

I went yo Kenya in 2008. I took my k10 and my pentax 55-300 lens with a bean bag I took about 1,400 shots which were the best photographs that I have ever taken I didn't use a converter. Take the 55-300; use a bean bag to mount camera on top of vehicle , and you will take the shots of your life.

Thanks. All good suggestions. I am now sorry that I sold my prime Pentax 50mm 1.4. But I sold it for more than I paid for it and really don't do many portraits .....but still.....

Ok, more info. The special from adorama was posted by Adam on 8/13 on the pentax price watch forum. It expired on 8/20. So it went on special just 4 days after my purchase at B&H

I tried to download the silkypixs software that came with my new k50 on my Mac. It will not download. Any suggestions? Also, when I connect my camera to to my Mac via the USB port, it is not recognized Anyone else have this issue and how can it be solved. I might just use my i photo as I heard silkypixs isn't that great anyway.

Hi Henry. My B&H order number is 1030139161. Can't find the adorama info. I ordered from B&H on Saturday 8/9. On Sunday I was admitted to the hospital. I was released on Thursday 8/14 and saw the adorama ad online. Thanks for your help. I really don't expect any special favors, but if you look at my history you will see that I am a loyal customer It just rubbed me the wrong way that the adorama deal came out so close to my purchase with B&H. It's like, oh man ! I can't believe this! Card, flash and bag for $45 less than I paid for camera and card alone
