I believe, sometimes, just a little smudging can reduce the predominant affect of the dougnut bokeh. I dunno, maybe I made it worse - smiles... GUB_3189_01shdbb by Michael Piziak, on Flickr

Addendum: I added 3 photos of the interaction between the one Hawk (locals here in West Virginia call it the "Chicken Hawk"), I added 3 photos of the interaction between the Crows and the one Hawk, again at: Crows & a Hawk spar over Meat | Science-naturalists by Michael Piziak
I think the Hawk is a very beautiful bird, don't you guys/gals think so too? But when it comes to Hawks and Crows sparing over food, they each hold their own! In some pics the Hawk has meat he/she is flying away with and in some pics the Crows have meat too their flying away with! I don't think that either is afraid of the other!

Thanks for your reply, and it is so fascinating that I want to read about it and post about it on my naturalists page.
Something I didn't mention, is that in the article it suggested an experiment.
The experiment is to tell your friend where you're going to go and sit down in the forest, and have your friend randomly pick a time to slowly walk toward you in the forest. If the experiment is repeated enough times, the person sitting in the forest, waiting on his friend to sneak up on him, will experience these Biological "waves" in the forest. Perhaps the friend quietly sitting there will have Deer or other animals come towards, or by, him caused by his friend perhaps scaring animals towards him, etc.....
Also, this phenomena isn't based just on the movement of animals, but also on sounds they make. From birds to mammals, they often make sounds when disturbed in the wild - which echoes through the forest and affects how other species do things like make their own sounds, some times warning sounds, etc.... Besides dear grunting at a possible threat, many other animals make sounds, likewise, like birds such as Turkey making warning clucks when they see a human or other predator, etc.... Of course, the warning sounds that travel through the forest from animal to animal will affect their movement - most of them moving away from the threat via hearing various sounds....

With the likes of Fujifilm, Leica, Olympus, and now even Nikon, all doing fairly well with their releases of retro cameras, who else would love to see a retro looking Pentax DSLR ?
Perhaps in the realm of the price of the kp or k-70

I'm doing very good.
My medications are just starting to kick in, and I'm not so manic but also not depressed and still focused on my Science.

I agree 100%.
I'm not incompetent as the last mental hospital (psyche ward is deragatory to us but I will wear my Psyche Ward shirt in their - I'm a big Iron Maiden fan, which I could go on for hours how the lead singer flies their own Boeing 747 around with Eddy painted on it called Ed Force One, but I won't (or did I just do that, LOL).
The owner and moderators here have understood that I'm competent but not Crazy. Many Scientists like me, and other very intelligent people, have been in mental words - ever google mad scientists of the past? Most are in Europe.

I agree 100% and could leave it at that. All I'll add is that on other forums I REALLY WENT BALLISTIC on people, letting them know my Hatfield and McCoy ancestry, here in Southern W.Va.., and letting people know they are hiding behind a fake name and that I would find them, I have ways, and destroy them with TNT, Dynomite, that I have a Scientific license to buy - I can also buy skeletons but they cost 5,000 to 7,000 $ last I checked 15 years ago. I am an expert at all the major Sciences, I can even take the root elements from the Periodic Table and make my own gun powder, etc....
So that's why I was banned on the 2 major Linux communities. But I'm smart too, IQ of 110 = Superior. When it comes to Chemistry, Physics, Biology, Geology, & Astronomy I really know a lot. I'm an expert at Algebra and learning Calculus 1,2,&3 on my own now. Trig I got a D in, but I never had it in high school and was young. I still got a B.S. from one of the top 10 Engineering Schools in the country, believe it or not W.Va. Tech which uses applied engineering - their students don't just book learn, they also build bridges and buildings, thus applied. All my Sciences courses were for Scientist and Engineers - much harder because both students and course work was harder at an engineering school, and the students were all Engineers, 98% of them. I majored in Physics there and still graduated with honors. I'll use a VPN to re-register on the 2 linux boards. But one keeps recognizing me as banned even when I use it and clear all browing history - who knows why?

Bipolar 1
But not incompetnent
Manic as I type this... Heavily medicated and use mental techniques to calm myself....as well as legal mary jane in our state now (does wonders!)
Funny though. I don't think my mania is a bad thing, even though I get thrown in jail multiple times and am hypersexual (I won't go iinto that, but I get what I want someoway, Love is like a drug I need first). My mania lets me think of and solve Scientific problems in my head. I have racing thoughts where I multi task him my mind and think of 3 to 4 things at a time. I discovered that stars wobble because of the earth wobbling on its axis and the star aren't really wobbling or moving from east to west quickly. I had an epipheny (sp?) when I figured this out, before even googling and proving myself right. I had an eppheny that I could figure out everything i wanted to know about the Universe.
I'm also a believer. It's mathematically unlikely we are here by our own choice or from a primoridal soup that turned into us evolving. I believe God used evolution as the tool to create species. I believe a God or higher power snapped his fingers and created the spark and matter that created the big bang - putting it into action. I use to just be an Atheist. But the proxy is that if you believe and there is a God, you go to heaven. Scientifically and statistically I can't convince myself and play the odds that there isn't and end up in an everlasting hell. It's only logical to play the odds in your favor. Thus, there is no conflict between Science and Religion. Also, preachers are wrong to say Biologists believe we came from monkeys - we evolved on our own branch on the primate tree where all primates come from the unknown base/trunk of the growing/thriving tree.

I'm back from a psych ward, well they call it a mental hospital, i even wore my psych ward shirt when in there and everyone loved it - and I have blue hair too. I'm a mad Scientist.
But I'm asking here if anyone has ever bought the youtube premium thing, I'm hoping to quit seeing ads/commercials - some are very long if I don't skip them.

One can instantly recognize the "film" video I posted as being like late 70s or 1980s, can't one?
Even when it' converted to youtube digital format.
The entire concept moves my mind beyond comparing film to dslr. As film vs. digital video both have things like frames/second and audio quality in them in addition to the 4k or 8k vs them or vs. the newer film.
I wonder if the new retro "records" that are big and have great art work have improved like film has - ???

I'm a Scientist by training. I have a Science Naturalist page with 161 followers right now at: www.piziak.com
Years ago I had my camera backpack with me on my motorcycle and took a lot of great pics I have on Flickr (at Michael Piziak | Flickr).
One thins is, as being a Naturalist and going into the woods all the time, you'd think I'd want the camera with me always like before. Actually, I already have so muich stuff to pack that it just becomes an added burden: Extra clothes and raincoats for changing conditions, drinks, tobacco (yep that or vape), police sized Maglite, mp3 player, fishing pole, the list goes on. And I'm riding a street and trail Yamaha.
If you visit my Science Naturalists page you'll see how I operate (again at piziak.com).
I observe then explain what I observed most of the time. I've found that nearly anything I can observe has already had a picture taken of it. Like people going to reproduce an Ansel Adams photograph. I just google something like "water turtle" and click images and there's a free picture of the same, type, and size of huge turtle I almost caught twice on the fishing pole.
Has anyone else experienced this? I'm not even talking about using a cell phone to take pics. It just seems like all the photos of the world and Universe have already been taken by someone else.
If I come across anything simply far out amazing that no one has ever seen before, I'll regret this decision then, but probnably won't convince me to take camera along.

Of all the photos of the Beatles using Pentax film cameras, I find this more modern photo (of Ringo I believe) using a Pentax is quite refreshing... & the question, which Pentax is it?
And I'm pretty sure it is Ringo because this photo was grouped with a bunch of other Beatles photos of them using Asahi Pentax cameras back in the 60's |

The only 2 camera websites that I frequent, is this one and DPreview. I just felt like saying something....

Bezzo's worth is $202 billion, making him the richest person on Earth.
DPreview, thus, had to be shut down, so that he doesn't lose any money or his standing on the Forbe's list - being #1 on that list.

Pentax only releasing 1.5 new cameras and a handful of lens is likely what a camera brand needs to do nowadays in order to stay above water or maintain a small profit. Of course I'm keeping this statement i context of the entire camera industry which certainly has been a pond of water that seems to keep getting smaller. Some companies, like Nikon, have layed off workers and shut factories in order to get to a point where they produce less product(s) from smaller operations...

I seen this joke on the net the other day as a video:
A wife kept looking at herself in the mirror so her husband asked why?
She said I'm old, getting less attractive, and fatter...
Husband said, "Yes, but your eyesight is perfect" right before she slapped the H out of him!
