Taken last November when the weather changed. It had snowed all day, then the fog came down in the evening. This little park is a series of small paths lit with raised paths. There's a ton of opportunities for good pictures in both day and night. This one was taken at approx 2am.
I was playing about with various exposure times and aperture values and this one was my favourite.

A different view of Tre Cime di Lavaredo at sunset, in the amazing Dolomites mountain range in Italy. This is a 24 seconds exposure taken with Leica SL, Laowa 12mm Zero-D and Formatt Hitech Filters Firecrest Ultra.
Thank you for viewing, best regards

A sunset along the central California coast, south of Big Sur, where the San Carpoforo Creek meets the sea. There's a fog bank rolling into shore in the distance.

Seattle is covered with snow for the last few days, and we've got more overnight. I guess it's hard time for hummingbirds - all food is covered with snow and frozen. I try to keep the syrup in my feeder warm, and the birds appear in minutes once I bring the feeder outside. It's too cold to fly, so they let me approach a little bit closer than usual.

My favorites from the lunar eclipse last night. The composite may be a little cheesy but I wanted to show the moon and also the landscape under the light of the full moon after totality.

All these years living by an airport finally paid off.
It was cloudy here all day and I grumbled about living in the Pacific Northwest and missing another celestial event.
When lo and behold, the clouds break and the moon is shining!
I had to rush inside and cobble together gear to cover the eclipse.
The camera was set up for a remote 3 second delay and this is the only one of 3 jet pictures that turned out since I had to guess when it would be in the frame.
You can even see the engine from the flash of the strobe.

It's a few minutes before closing at the resort gift shop. Just a few people remain. I love night photography and shot this just for practice, in Manual Mode, hand-held at a distance of a little over 100 feet. Image stabilization was on, and I focused just short of infinity and metered (center-weighted) on the man in the shop. Editing consisted of cropping, adjusting white balance, bringing up the highlights and mids; and selectively increasing vibrancy of colored items in the shop. I think the F4.5 aperture gave just enough depth of field to cover the target and the chairs in front of the shop.
