Sorry if this is in the wrong section :)
im still relatively new when it comes to the mechanics of my K30, any help would be greatly appreciated.
When I look into the camera a small (what looks like a piece of grass) sits in the image bottom right.
The grass shard does not show up on my images, when I take off the lens I can see the shard inside the camera body.
Should I take this to get the sensor cleaned or ?

thank you!! unfortunately they are harder to source in Australia then i thought shipping from the above link is $90!!!!!! what the hell for a $3 cap!!! so i have to get my butt over to the city Ted's store! thank guys for helping me identify the actual part :)

Hey guys
I've lost my camera cover ( the screw lid thing that attaches to the actual camera to protect where the lens sits) im a newbie so not sure what is is called.
any ideas where i can get a replacement ? for k-30

Ive read the manual maybe im missing it pentax k30, timer is set for 2sec how do I turn it off

Yes, so very warm :P just the other day it was 40 degrees (104 f) ... and thank you for your kind words yeah im just taking my time taking heaps of happy snaps!

I just took the card out and stuck it in the comp no fuss.. I think ill just do this in future

Just fiddling qith the cord.. seems its the connection to the camera it seems I need to push it in or down to connect

Ahh awsome id sau my budget is between $300-$400 and most of the suggested ones fall in that category so oncw I wrap my head around what it all actually means ill pull the plug on something

My k30 is about 3-4 month old and ive noticed a few problems with it, 1- when connected to my pc it dropes in/out depending on if im holding it, tipping it to the side ect its almost like looking for phone reception, moving it around trying to stay connected. ...
2- another issue im having is ( its happend 3 times) ill turn it on, go to take a picture and it does its focus thing all set and .....freezes, wont take the pic wont switch to view mode wont do a thing. Its fully charged and I have to turn it on/off twice before it works again

Totally new to cameras, I currently have a 17-70mm macro lens which came with my k30. .. im looking for a long range lens that wont send me broke as im a student hit me with your suggestions :)
