John- that is a great idea! Are you aware of any tools that may have that capability? Sounds like a great solution to the video that I already took.
Thx,
Mike

Thanks Giklab!
I will try the manual audio setting tonight.
Mike ---------- Post added 06-25-15 at 10:17 AM ---------- Giklab,
Sorry forgot to answer your question, yes the dojo is very quite most of the time. Thinking about it the only sound it would pick up until katas, etc start would be that low humming noise. Seems that you are right it is picking that up and turning up the volume to get it.
Thx,
Mike

Hey guys,
I need your input on 1) if is possible to remove fluorescent light humming noise in a video and 2) next time I record is there a way to better record without capturing it? I took some video on my Pentax K3 in our Karate Dojo of kids doing katas, etc. Video turned out great with the exception of the very loud humming noise from the fluorescent lights. I could hear it in the dojo too but seems much more prominent in the video. We are not going to be able to remove and replace the fluorescent lights with something that does not produce the noise, so I was wondering how I could record to get around this or an easy post processing way to remove the noise.
Thx,
Mike

Hey guys,
I know lightroom seems to be the choice for photo editing and processing, but how about video? I just need to breakup some longer videos into smaller clips and wanted to see what everyone recommended. These are just home videos and nothing professional.
Thx,
Mike

Hey guys,
Apologize in advance if this is a dup on here, but I do not see anything. I recently picked up a new K3 and love it, but over the weekend I was recording my kids karate test and missed most of it because it stopped at 25 minutes. I read something about 4G limit and fat32, but anyway around this?
Thx!

They are in Canada and came with CA or US Warranty. I think the US warranty was a year or 2 year CA. Seems based on everyone's feedback they are a solid dealer.

quickndone is the same company that was selling the K3 for $599 early January. I will wait till it gets close to that again.
