Frank, after I read about this here, I tried a Google search looking for more information but found none (aside from what I assume is your post with the same info at DPReview). Can you point me to the source(s) of the information about the coatings and serial numbers? Hopefully it'll be in English :D

I recently bought the same lens, and it is a very good performer (I do have the 1:1 converter lens). As above, I don't need this lens but would like to encourage someone in need of a low-cost macro option to give it a try. You won't be disappointed.
