Hi all, I have been using my K1000 for a few months but only encountered this problem recently. When there is a lens on, and I move the aperture ring, the meter works. However, when I change my shutter speed, the meter needle stays the same. Is there any way to fix such a problem? Thanks!

I know there are a few topics regarding this but i still don't quite understand which battery is suitable for the spotmatic without any rubber accessory or anything.
Will the Lr41 battery be able to fit inside without any other thing supporting it? Thanks!
Is it true that only silver oxide batteries are able to work with it? How about alkaline batteries?
I'm using the Spotmatic SP versions btw.
