I got my sigma 2 days ago . Im using k30 and for the first impresion it is a great companion for k30. Havent seen any focus issues. It hasnt been a long time since I got the lens and not many pictures have been taken with it so I cant tell 100%. For now Ive got some stunning resaults . :)

I have a dilivery guaratee for begining of june . I bought it from web shop in my country. The lens is avalible but its very rare that pentax users buy it so they never have it in stock. Insted its always by order only. Hope I wont be the first pentax user owning it lol.

It is out for quite a while and I order it . Maybe someone that has it knows some direct data ? :)
USB dock for pentax mount isnt out yet so thats a bit of a problem , and since Im ordering it online Im worried about having to return it for correction. :/
All ideas are welcome :)

Hello folks !
Reading many reviews and forum posts on other sites I came across a comon problem for sigma 18-35 . back focus and front focus issues. Im wondering is it a same problem on k30 ? If anyone knows from his own experience ? I have k30 and just bought sigma . I wait till it arrives so Im kinda nervous. :/

I am about to buy k 30. tamron 17-50 was my first choice because of f/2.8 and price but I read some reviews that it doesnt work well with k 30 and that it has something called backfocus and serious lack in sharpness on the edges. on the other hand i read that pentax 17-70 is quite good besides som focus problems on tele end. i would go with tamron without further thinking if i didnt ran on to that post saying it has some problems with k 30. can someone please tell me something about that. thx!

Hello dear pentax lovers.
Im buying my first dslr and I chose k 30 witch brings me to my dilema about my first walkaround lens. i thought about tamron 17-50 f/2.8 and pentax 17-70 f/4 . can you tell me please wich one is better for walkaround lens in terms of sharpness and overall image quality. i heard that tamron has some problems so i wanted to check that out with you folks. thanks !
