Well, as for the digital world of Pentax: I fire my K20D with my remote (tv-) control now and then. That is a Philips SBC RU 538E. Of course I have to instruct the camera via the Fn-button to accept wireless instructions. Done that, I simply push down the OK-button of the remote and when I aim well my camera is so nice as to take a picture. No more, no less.

I'm not a fan of Pentax, I'm simply a user! If that's too low a profile, I'm sorry I ever joined this community!

Just read on a Dutch Pentax forum. It is possible to use your infrared tv-remote control to activate your camera. I tried it with K20D and a Philips SBC RU 538E control and it worked. At least pushing the menu- or ok-button triggered the shutter. Yes, you should choose infrared control in the Fn-menu!
I don't know if this subject is obsolete or not - not going to read all of the subjects here to verify- so I give it for what it is worth!

I'm so glad, I didn't know anything of all the technical stuff you brought up here when I bought my K20D-camera! Do you mind?

Maybe I'm the ignorant one!
Nevertheless, tell me: what is a 100% camera !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
You can't? No? Now, what are you talking about then?
And now you can answer me: yes, you are ignorant! And that's the only answer you can give???
Thank you very much!

Nice discussion for a political board. In Europe "America" stands for "U.S. of America" in colloquial speech, as "Russia" STOOD for "U.S.R.R.", as "Holland" stands for "The Netherlands", as "England" stands for "Great Brittain" and maybe there are other examples.

The pictures are as they should be!!!! White objects' shadows are blueish! Our brains know that they should be white/grey, so we see it as white/grey. But actually those shadows are blue. The impressionist painters (19th century, Monet, Manet, Van Gogh etc.) so painted the shadows blue. All colours have their own shadow-colours.
So I would say: your camera is doing fine!!

O, I overlooked an older solution here, which is NOT in the Remote Assistant's manual btw! I should have started the program as an administrator. How could I think that Pentax has been stupid and not me!!!!

Through German E-bay I found prices from € 7.90 up to € 29.99. And from 1500 mAh up to 2000 mAh. And......of course POSTAGE!

To all of you...............!
Do you like to take pictures?
Or do you like to take arguments?
Do you earn money from Pentax?
Or are you satisfied with the CREATIVE things, offered by K20D?
And..........moreover.....do you use them?
So, if you agree..................let's turn to be "Friendly Pentax Discussion COMMUNITY!"
I know! My arguments are so obvious...........but then?
