For those of you who have the katz eye, is the viewfinder noticeably brighter? I'm finding the centre spot hard to find on my k-x in low light settings...

Man, I've never used a strap. My favourite thing about Pentax cameras - all five I've owned - is how well they fit in the hand. Strap, schmap!

I've been having a hard time with my new k-x; I'd become so used to the K200d and the selectable/visible focus point in the viewfinder. I forgot all about using the centre focal point and recomposing! Back to basics for me...

Hi, I'm trying to pare down the collection of lenses to fund some other non-photography purchases. So here goes:
Pentax SMC DA 18-55mm - $45
First up is the kit lens I got with my lovely *ist DL. This is in good condition - it saw a lot of use for the first few months I had my DL, until LBA hit. Comes with a B&W F-Pro UV filter that's been on the lens since day one, front and rear lens caps and the original lens hood.
The lens @ 18mm:
The lens @ 55mm: Sigma 24-135mm f2.8-4.5 - $100
I've read mixed reviews on this lens, but I've always loved this thing. Bought new about 2 years ago - in good condition, this was my workhorse lens for the better part of two years. It's heavy but it takes beautiful shots. Comes with UV filter, front and rear lens caps and the original lens hood.
The lens @ 24mm/f2.8:
The lens @ 125mm: Sigma 70-300mm f4-5.6 DL Macro Super - $80
Anything over 150mm is pretty much wasted on me. I bought this used about two years ago at the height of LBA, and it is in good condition. Comes with UV filter, front and rear lens caps and one of those wacky folding rubber lens hoods.
The lens @ 70mm:
The lens @ 300mm/macro:

The Camera Store in Calgary has fairly good prices. I was in there just yesterday to check out the K200D; they're selling it for just under $700, which is very, very tempting right now.
They've also added a bunch of the Pentax lenses to their rental list!
