Pentax HSS with Cactus V6ii and Godox Witstro AD360 Flash Light Speedlite

I just tested an AD360 (the "old" one) with the XT-32C and Cactus V6II

HSS was possible when I set the Cactus on Pentax Camera - Manual Flash - Power Sync
The AD360 and the TT600 were set to HSS manually. XT-32C on Top of the Cactus V6II

GREAT!

WOW Thank your for that Thread!

I'm in a similar Position:
I'm thinking of getting a AD360, but I'm not sure wether it should be the AD360 or the AD360II-N.

Has anyone tested the AD360 in SuperSync / HSS combined with a Pentax 560? I would like to use the AD360 in a huge Softbox and the Pentax 560 as a rim light in a small one in HSS / Supersync mode of the Cactus V6ii.

No Joke: When I talk with my pupils about film music we also discuss music in computer games!

It's so cool to see their faces when you tell them that your playing games like battlefield, too

The need for a battery grip

what I like about the Pentax K5 and K3:
Without a battery grip they are handy (especially with limiteds) but if I attach a batterygrip I get a great balance for heavier Lenses like 70-200 2.8 or an 50-500. It's so cool to see such a transformation :)

I'm trying to adapt a batterygrip for K30 because of:
- better balance with my 135-400 and evtl. 28-75 2.8
- vertical Shutter shooting

I don't really need the "battery" in it, but it's a "nice to have".

Hello out there!

I've been reading a lot in this forum and decided that today is the day to introduce myself.

I'm a Music teacher, Gamer and of course hobby photograph from Germany.
In 2008 I bought my K-m as my first DSLR and I'm since then in Love with Pentax. Last year I did an "upgrade" to the K30.

Thank you for all your comments, tests, suggestions etc. that you are sharing here! Hopefully I can share some helpful things, too!

Best regards
ruebyi / Tobias

Hey guys! Great work!

I'm thinking about making a Batterygrip just like you did. My only Question/concern:
roykin used an D5000 grip. did the D-Li109 fit in wihout any problems? or did you change any contacts?

best regards
Tobias

P.S.: Sorry for my bad english - I'm from Germany.
