Full Manual
FULLY COMPATIBLE with DA 50 1.4AL, DA 35 2.4, DA smc 70mm 2.4 (Limited and normal edition)
Yes it has a Black plastic Bayonet but for the use I'm going to do it wont be a problem, you can spend a bit more and get a better build body like the MZ5 or MZ5n (but you will only get AV mode (so the camera will choose the shutter speed x you) ( I also have one, I will upload the pictures taken with both MZ30 & MZ5 with my DA lenses)

Wishing you a nice holidays season, well, for some of us is called Christmas:
By the way this one was posted on the December contest threat:
December 1st , in one of the hearts of London (Oxford Street station). The area is well known as shopping area and while the decoration around my main subject was Christmas related it was also the "World's Aids day celebration".
My friend organized a 3000 condoms free give away event, including volunteers on Christmas colors giving small purple bags with a condom inside.

When my neighbor asked me to give him a hand to do the photography for an event he was organizing on the World's Aids day in London I couldn't refuse.
He organized a free morning give away condoms event, so on a freezing day, we were at Oxford Street Station, emblematic heart of London, giving away 3000 little purple gift bags containing a condom. While the area is well known as a "shopping mecca" and despite the Christmas decoration we wanted to make people think a bit further than the frenetic work and shopping wave, perhaps reflecting on those who already passed away, those who still fight the virus, to fight the stigma and of course to take care of themselves.

Hello people, this is my first time entering on the monthly contest. For this month and thinking about the "Holiday Spirit" I wanted to contribute with a picture taken yesterday, December 1st , in one of the hearts of London (Oxford Street station). The area is well known as shopping area and while the decoration around my main subject was Christmas related it was also the "World's Aids day celebration".
My friend organized a 3000 condoms free give away event, including volunteers on Christmas colors giving small purple bags with a condom inside.

Hello Guys,
Few days before closing the entries for the photo contest I bring to you one of my pictures.
This shot was taken in Fulham Broadway in London, UK.
The picture was taken last month in my garden. I was hanging from my orange tree to get this perspective :-),.
The flowers creating a pink carpet on the grass provided a very especial atmosphere and my model ws brave enough to wear shorts on a very cold day.
If you feel like nominating this picture for the K3 contest, please don't hesitate and move your finger :-)
Cheers and Good Luck!

Just to update you on my final decision guys (since you kindly answer my question) I finally opted for a local Bargain in London (100 pounds) for a new SMC Pentax-DA 35mm F2.4
including 2 years of local warranty. Already grabbed a proper hood as well so once received the items will probably share some shots for windy and winter London UK
Thanks for your support!

Hello Everybody!
Guys, one favour, I'm undecided about my 35mm prime lens choice, I was reading the lenses section and doing my on-line research so more or less I know what are the options available but I'm not sure which lens to pick up If I already have a DA 50mm 1.4 (that i mainly use indoors for portraits) My gear:
Sigma 10-20 ( Architecture and very wide shots)
DA 50mm 1.4 (indoors portraits and close ups)
Sigma 17-70mm f/2.8-4.5 DC Macro (Walk around piece / fair enough but would like to upgrade later on)
DA 50-200mm F4-5.6 (Standar zoom that works fine for my zoom portraits) Dilemma:
Since I already have the DA 50mm 1.4 I dont see it as a walk around lens for street shots so I want a 35mm prime for my K3 and K5. I'm wondering if some one can tell me if the :Pentax 35mm F2 PFA SMC AL on my K3 will look almost the same as my 50mm 1.4? (since is a Full Frame lens), If that is the case I wont buy it. I want a longer angle (I must say that I could get the 35mm 2.0 AL for almost 230 pounds) My other alternatives are: (the criteria is 28-35mm and F/2.4 or faster)
Sigma 28 f1.8
Pentax DA 35 2.4
Sigma 30mm 1.4
Samyang 35mm (Manual)
Other suggestions? (Budget max 350 pounds)
Thanks for your suggestions and comments!

Hello Everybody!
Guys im new in the forum and living in London for already three years.
First of all a big thanks for all the people who run and support this fantastic site!.
My two kids are my Pentax K5 and since a week ago my K3. I do if you want to call it like this, "Documentary" photography and looking forward to keep learning and knowing my k3 much better.
As new on the forum I also have a question for you guys :-)
