Another sad, but true, Wolf Camera Story

I go the a Wolf in S.A. and its ok. They are helpful but they don't seem to know anything. So i don't know if it was just a mistake (not out of the realm of possibility not if they are like the one in S.A.) My mother and I bought our K10D there, but only after we did our homework on the internet. The reason we bought it at Wolf instead of getting it cheaper on the internet was because we got free classes. Warning- DO NOT MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE!!! The classes weren't that bad if you have to be told what shutter speed, aperture and exposure is 20 times . It would have been better to get some photography lessons off the internet (which we still ended up doing).

my biggest problem is that whenever i pick up my camra with friends they all run for cover, make the worst faces, etc.. i can never find someone willing to be natrual around the camra. also i can never find someone to take portraits of.

i have the K10D and love it. it is my first dSLR. and i've found it to be easy to figure out, and there are lots of people out there who own the K10D and are willing to help. i did look at the Olympus and was tempted to buy it but the K10D had 1) a great feel to it (little be bigger of a body to offset the lens, but not too heavy) 2) it has i don't know how many seals it in to protect it from getting dirty etc... 3) it as the anti-shake it in that i find sooooo helpful 4) the anti-shake is built into the camera so the lens are less expensive. good luck with the search, hope this helps.
