I have a Pentax K10D on which I have been using a Tamron 28 - 300 XR Di Lens but lately this lens has been very slow to focus and even at times even refuses to focus , so because of this situation there have been many out of focus and missed shots . I have gone back to using my old Pentax Lenses which are SMC Pentax FA 28 - 80 1.35 - 4.7 and SMC Pentax FA 70 - 200 1.4 - 5.8 power zooms both of which I purchased for my Pentax Z50P many years ago. The 20 -80 has been refurbished but the 70 -200 is still original and both are working perfectly and no more missed shots or out of focus ones. I am interested to see if anyone else has had the same problems with this lens.

wanganuibrat is an e mail address that I have used for years when I was living in Australia and have just kind of kept it. Wanganui is my home town in New Zealand but since returning from Aussie I live in Napier , and I did not want to change things around to much.

Hi fokes, my name is Bruce but I go under the handle of wanganuibrat and I live in Napier, New Zealand and I have been a keep Pentax user and collector for many years now as well as collecting some other brand cameras which use the K mount system plus also rangefinder cameras then again I also pick up some just for the fact that they are a little different from the normal camera so as you can see I am no 1 Pentax then what ever takes my fancy. I am not a great forum user but who knows that might change now I am connect to this forum.
