Thanks for the info everyone. I don't really need a 100 ft. reach, but wanted to understand the specs. before I add this to my wish list.
Hoping to become an active member and Pentax owner in the near future (late Feb./early Mar.)

Thanks for the greetings. I'm leaning heavily toward Pentax basically because it seems they offer more for the money with the K bodies.. I do live near N.O., and will probably go to Bennett's to get a "hands on" when I'm ready to purchase.

Hello All,
Regarding a flash's effective range, in the description of the Pentax AF360FGZ II is the text "Guide Number 119 at ISO 100/ft (36 at ISO 100/m)". Is this flash truly effective at 100 feet? I'm sure I'm misunderstanding this description.
Pardon my ignorance on this topic, any replies are much appreciated.

Hello All,
Glad to be a new member and look forward to being a Pentax owner.
I'm getting ready to make the jump to a DSLR kit. I've been reviewing the Canon/Nikon/Pentax offerings and am leaning heavily toward a Pentax body. I'm going to wait until after the Japan CP+ event to see if there are any updates to existing equipment.
