It is a really great lens. Nice rendering, good colors (even the reds).
Today I want to show some pictures taken with the K 30mm/2.8 @ 2.8 and 4.0.
I like the rendering very much, although sometimes it produces harsh reds. Did some pp to correct this. |

Here are two more reasons, why i like this lens.
Both at f/4, second one against hard sunlight. No purple and green roses
Even if i take photographs of people, i just use the catch in focus. It works great. I sold my FA77 last week. :)
edit: the first one is better on my laptop. resizing isnt good on that. Have a look here: |

Got this pretty lens this week in very good conditions.
Less purple fringing than the fa77/1.8 limited. I love it already.

Great keepers you got. Especially the dogs are very cute. Landscape is also nice. Will post some pictures soon, but I used the 77/1.8 more often these days to learn more portrait photography.

Glorious picture of a beautiful dog. Amazing good lens, but: BIG.
I got the F50/1.7 instead of the DA50/1.8 and it's a real nice lens, but sometimes I have some difficulties to get the right composition. I think the DA35 is more versatile because of its focal length. It just feels right. Maybe the Sigma70/2.8 EX Macro would additionaly fit very well for photographing details and some Headportraits. :)
One more new picture from today:

I prefer the b/w, because in that case there is no need for color - it doesnt change anything. In this picture the lines, repititions and unexpected curves (spoon) are the main theme to focus on.

Yes, its the #286xxxx. I think my lens is from 1976 or 1986, because they produced it from the 70s until the early 90s and the third digit stands for the year the lens was manufactured.
By the way: its granted to YOUR review why i got this one! :-)

It's incredibly sharp. Sharper than my eyes can see. :o) got it from a german dslr forum. I won't give it back anymore.
Stopped down to f5,6. Second one is a 100% crop.

Hello folks!
I'm from bavaria and started taking photographs last year. I like my pentax k30 very much, often using the F50/1.7., especially for portraits. :)
Hope to see nice pictures.
See you
