A better charger?

Haven't posted in a while and have a new question. This coming Wednesday, my parents and I are heading into the city and going to the Museum of Natural History. I'm going to go out and buy two packs of eneloops the day before, finally after deciding that the Energizers that I have been using for over a year now, are complete garbage. I have a charger already, but I'm thinking that it isn't a good one, decent but not great.

I am currently using an Energizer 8.5 hour charger that has is decent, but I don't think that it's good to use with the eneloops. Is there a better charger out there or is the one that I have good enough already.

Also, I know that this isn't the place to post, but its easier to post the question here.

Are there any restrictions on taking pictures in this specific museum or can I just shoot away?

Thank you guys again.

I've been using an Energizer that charges the batteries for at least 8.5 hours. I brought a long one accidentally without realizing it.

I think that I might need some help with finding a better rechargeable than what I have now. I am currently using Energizer Rechargeable AA 2500 mAH batteries. The are alright, but the life quality of them is pretty short. I can shoot for maybe an hour and then they are done. I've looked into grips and also tried looking for other batteries, but there is no information on any of them. What are you guys using right now and is it worth spending cash on? If any of you guys are using rechargeable batteries, what brand and are they any good?

I took a photo course a few years ago and started out with a Pentax K1000. For Christmas two years later I got a K100DS. It has officially become my camera and I use it for every thing. Here's the best that I've taken so far.

Thanks for the suggetion kitty. Are either of the Sigma or the Tarmon lens full auto? This is the reason why I like using the Pentax lens, because of the fact that I like being able to switch from manual to automatic just by flicking a switch. That's why I'm considering the lens from Pentax.

Thanks Turner. Is that one full auto also? If I'm shooting action spots, I like to leave my camera on auto when I'm doing this.

Hi all,

I'm thinking with my tax return coming in the main in the next couple of weeks, I'm considering purchasing a a new lens for my K100D. I'm so used to using Pentax lens, so I'm shopping around for one. The thing is I want a long range lens, one with a decent zoom. The one I'm probably looking at will be long range zoom. I'm really starting to like the 50-200mm the Pentax makes, mainly because it the same as the current lens that I have on my camera, the 18-55mm that I got with my camera last weekend. Is the DA 50-200mm f/4-5.6 lens a good one or is there a better on out there made by Pentax. Please help me out.
