Привет!
Мой русский очень ржавая, так что я обманул с Bing (надеюсь, я не сказал что-нибудь грубо!)
Также, я новичок на форуме.
Он выглядит даже холоднее, где вы находитесь, чем здесь, в Англии!

My oldest M42/T-mount lens is a Soligor 400mm f6.3 (50 years old?), which is great for Moon pics and not quite so good for birding! I'll post a pic when I get a round tuit.
I've also acquired an Optomax 135mm f2.8 (looks like this one: Optomax 135mm f2.8 (m42) ? ThruGlass) which I bought for £5 the other day from the junk box at LCE with the usual sticky iris (best under-a-fiver lens?). Anyway, I'm preparing a lens shoot-out for the Dyxum site between the Optomax, the Tamron 80-210mm zoom, and a modern plastic-fantastic lens (the Sony DT55-200 SAM), just to see *exactly* how rose-tinted my spectacles really are!
When I finish it I can link to it here if anyone is interested.

All the best, Miranda F.

Hi.
I've been directed here many times while researching old lenses so I thought perhaps it's time I said hello!

I'm not a Pentax owner but I do like old lenses (especially the ones which would have been very new when I started taking pictures around 50 years ago!).
I have a large collection of Miranda cameras and lenses from the 1960s and 70s, but though they took very good pictures they aren't compatible with modern DSLRs. So I've been acquiring M42 and T-mount lenses of the same period which I can fit to my Sony DSLT, if that doesn't put you off!

There were some excellent lenses made in those days, many of which are now quite cheap to buy, though sorting the good from the bad can be a bit hit and miss! Anyway, there seem to be a lot of other people here who like old lenses, so maybe I'll spend a bit more time here in the future.
